And we're off!

First of all, I want to thank you for filling in the tons of paperwork so promptly and for attending parent information night.  My students are very fortunate to have such great support at home.
I am fortunate as well since Mme Lisa will be assisting me in the classroom for an hour every day.
I would like to ask your help ensuring that your child has the basics under control: tying their shoes, spelling their last name and holding their pencil properly. Untied shoelaces are a safety issue. A correct pencil grasp will help make cursive handwriting much easier.
P.S. One of our classmates has a severe allergy to nuts. Please be extra vigilant when checking food labels. No food that MAY CONTAIN nuts should be packed in lunches. Thank you!
